Banana Cake

   This is a recipe that is from Ina Garten's latest book How Easy Is That?It is so delicious,I just had to share it,and let's face it....it is a great way to use overripe bananas!Moist & delicious,perfect for a springtime brunch!
Cake Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp.vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
   In the bowl of your mixer,blend the butter and sugars together.Add the eggs,vanilla,sour cream,orange zest and the oil.Stir in the walnuts.Pour into a greased 9 inch round pan and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45-50 minutes.

Frosting Ingredients:
6 oz. cream cheese ,softened(the bar,not the whipped)
3/4 stick of unsalted butter(6 tbsp.),softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2-1/2 c. powdered sugar,sifted
   Mix all of the ingredients together in the bowl of your mixer until combined and smooth.Use to frost the top of the banana cake.
