Peanut Butter Bites

This is a quick,no-bake recipe that is great for any time of year.Kids love to make these,as they are a real hands-on project.Shaping these into egg shapes and decorating them can also be a fun idea for Easter!
Ingredients:
1/4c. unsalted butter,softened
2 c. rice krispies
1-1/2 c. powdered sugar
18 oz. peanut butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
melting chocolate
Place all of the ingredients ,except the melting chocolate, in a bowl.Using clean hands, mix together well.Roll the mixture into little balls and place on a baking sheet.Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
While the bites are freezing, melt some chocolate in a double boiler.Once melted, let chocolate cool slightly.Remove the bites from the freezer, and dip each one into the chocolate, completely coating the bite.Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and refrigerate until the chocolate is set.(I sometimes place them in the freezer to set if I am in a rush) Enjoy!
***The bites are placed in the freezer so they do not melt when dipped into the warm chocolate.
***These can be decorated with colored chocolate melts,or sprinkles.
